Pakistan Real Estate Market Future & Forecast in 2022


In this article, I will discuss Pakistan's real estate market in 2022 and its future. There are several factors that influence this forecast, so it is not a prophecy. The purpose of buying property is to make money. In terms of profit safe havens, there are four major factors.

  • Gold
  • Banks
  • Stock Market
  • Property Market

Gold

Let's go over each one one by one. First, we'll talk about gold. There was a huge rise in gold prices in 2020 due to the Corona pandemic and unstable universal economic conditions. As a result, investors are investing in gold, which is rapidly going up and reaching as high as 2000 dollars per ounce. As it reaches its peak and starts to drift down, investors are no longer willing to risk investing in it.

Banks

Second, banks are a major factor. In 2019-20, we saw a rise in interest rates of 13.50%. The Government of Pakistan, however, took a good step to boost its economy by lowering its interest rate, which is at present 7%. In order to discourage bulk deposits, the government is decreasing interest rates to encourage people to spend money.

Stock Market

Thirdly, there is the stick market. Also at its peak, it may decline or remain at this level in the near future.

Property Market

If you look closely at the property market, you will find that it is gradually increasing in value. In order to speed it up, the government took several initiatives. Numerous projects have been launched, such as the Diamir Basha Dam and the Naya Pakistan Housing scheme. Investors are now able to invest in property without providing income proof. They can turn their black money into white money. Cement and steel sales are at record highs, which is a positive sign. Moreover, the government is considering importing cement, as its prices have already reached 550 from 420 previously. The price of DHA is also increased by up to 5 million dollars. The CPEC project is moving forward at full speed.
